Job Accountabilities -

- Coordinate feasibility study of engineering deliverables like plot plan layout drawings, GA drawings, equipment layout etc.

- Facilitate the alignment of the Engineering contractors to RIL's Engineering Setup and requirements of the project

- Suggest project engineering procedures used by Engineering Contractor and ensure its alignment to RILs requirements and standard norms

- Review and approve key engineering milestones/deliverables generated doing the project

- Coordinate the implementation of the RIL PMS in the project by the Engineering Contractor

- Coordinate piping comments in 3D model review, review waivers/deviations raised by different groups

- Release material and purchase requisition by Engineering Contractor

- Establishing the weightage factors of different Engineering milestones involved in the project for development of the baseline schedule for the project

- Providing Engineering inputs for the formulation of the DOR of the project depending on the scope of execution (FEED, Detailed Engineering, etc.)

- Monitor & control schedule, progress, flow of design, input design changes, scope changes of the job as per the project requirements

- Manage Engineering of large projects, review and approve key piping deliverables & calculations

Interpret prime contracts, determine engineering scope, and set up engineering work plan for the department on complex projects.

Education - Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical) preferred

Experience-- 15 -20 years of DEC experience in Refinery/Petrochemical/O&G etc.

Prior experience in project management including site experience in relevant field like brown field projects etc.
