Experience Required

Detailed understanding knowledge of refinery, petrochemical and gasification processes.
Role
Lead Engineer will manage the full lifecycle of CFD simulation projects, from initial scope definition to root cause identification and design and operating condition recommendations. This role requires deep expertise in CFD software suites (Ansys.) and strong leadership and collaborative skills to work in team, coordinate with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality, efficient engineering solutions.
Main accountabilities include:
1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise and guidance in flow simulation, operating condition and design optimization using Ansys Fluent.
2. Model Development & Validation: Develop and validate reactive multiphase flows, mixing in stirred vessels and heat transfer.
3. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct flow simulations to understand underlying effects of erosion, adequacy checks of existing hardware, and checking performance of existing plant equipments to enhance efficiency and productivity.
4. Documentation & Standards: Fair understanding of industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
5. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
6. Project Management: Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, budgeting, and delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
7. Establish general understanding of RIL business priorities, commercial application interests, product and processes.
