Job Overview

The Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer is a full-time position based in Jamnagar. This role involves ensuring efficient maintenance of electrical systems to maximize reliability across our industrial facilities. The position is suited for those passionate about hands-on engineering and problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in preventive maintenance, especially within industrial electrical setups, ensuring long-term equipment reliability (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve faults in critical systems and equipment.
• Proficiency in conducting detailed root cause analysis to address recurring breakdowns and improve future performance.
• Knowledge of Lockout-Tagout procedures to ensure safety during repair and maintenance activities of high-voltage equipment.
• Solid foundation in PLC programming and diagnosis, supporting efficient automation and process control.
• Ability to perform thorough circuit analysis for diagnosing disruptions and validating modifications to electrical installations.
• Effective communication skills to document maintenance activities, prepare technical reports, and liaise with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of industry-specific safety protocols and the capacity to work according to company and legal compliance standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections on electrical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure system longevity.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs on motors, switchgears, panels, and other high-voltage equipment as required.
• Execute root cause analysis of equipment failures to determine permanent corrective actions.
• Implement Lockout-Tagout procedures diligently during maintenance processes to maintain safety standards.
• Assist in PLC program updates and fault diagnostics to improve automation system efficiency and reliability.
• Analyze and interpret electrical diagrams and circuit schematics for installation, repair, and upgrades.
• Prepare technical and compliance documentation, maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities performed.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to support plant optimization and reliability initiatives.
