Job Accountabilities:

• Anchoring erection & commissioning of machines & equipment and ensuring completion of project in minimum turnaround time effective resource utilization to maximize the output..
• Implement Group guidelines and LFIs for safely execution of projects.
• Carryout Trouble shooting & support for major & critical failures / issues occurring at site
• Maintain electrical testing tools & tackles
• Participate in turnaround & shutdown activities.
• Support for Technical Due Diligence for major activities, minor projects, plant expansions and modifications.
• Follow and enforce applicable HSEF procedures/ practices and RIL Group Safety Standards. Follow Electrical Safety Regulations.
• Site Visit with initiator and other discipline representatives to understand the scope of the proposal.
• Finalizing the material requirement for the proposal and preliminary cable length estimation and associated costs based on existing drawings
• Identification of suitable codes with respect to specifications and requirement in various plants and extension of the same to the desired plant.
• Identification of services based on Scope of the job after detailed engineering.
• Service PR creation and co-ordination with Contracts cell.
• Coordinating with Projects, Engineering, Procurement, Central facilities, Vendor and Construction team for the smooth & timely execution of project
• Preparation of BOQ, Technical Particular and Specification Sheet
• Document work i.e ITP, as build drawing, contractors Bills validating and Reconciliation of Free Issue Material etc.
• Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning of Electrical System.
• Work Planning for project completion in time frame.
• Responsible for conducting the inspection of incoming electrical material before installation.
• Review the contractor inspection plan and all QA/QC documentations.
• Supervising Fabrication & Erection works to be performed by contractor and ensure the compliance with established construction drawing, schedule, quality and project requirements.
• Preparation of inspection reports and liaises with client site representative.
• Preparation of (B.O.Q) & (B.O.M) as per drawing for supply of Equipment’s & Materials.
• Maintaining documentation and correspondence with client and contractor.
• Review of Factory acceptance test reports and manufacturers QC documents
• Maintains functional links with other unit heads in the project.
• Monitors construction progress and preparing catch up plan for the timely completion of project.
• Review of test results, as built drawings, final documents & project records before handing over to the client.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Electrical

Electrical : 3 to 6 years of experience as Electrical construction engineer, project planning/execution  Engineer in oil and gas, manufacturing industry, Polyester, Polymer, Petrochemical, Refinery industry.
