Policies, Processes and Procedures-

1. Ensure compliance to quality assurance plan for the mechanical discipline in line with established procedures, standards, and criteria.
2. Proactively identify quality-related issues and concerns pertaining to mechanical engineering activities.
3. Maintain detailed records of quality resolutions, actions taken, and their outcomes for documentation and reporting & future reference purposes
4. Escalate unresolved or critical quality issues to higher management or relevant stakeholders for further guidance or decision-making.
5. Stay updated with industry trends, technology and practices for the adoption of best practices.

Mechanical Engineering & Project Management

1. Perform detailed engineering of the equipment (Static / Rotating / Packaging / HVAC).
2. Plan, budget and schedule activities for the scope of work/ alloted project
3. Check and Review Mechanical Data Sheets and input documents.
4. Collaborate with other discipline leads to develop a comprehensive project plan that considers the specific requirements and inputs from each discipline
5. To check Material Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) Reports, Schedule of Quantities (SOQ), etc. prepared by Design Engineers/ Senior Desigers
6. To Carryout review of Vendors’ drawings (VDR) and getting the same reviewed by other Engineering departments.
7. Facilitate resolution of issues arising during manufacturing and erection.
8. Prepare the Scope Change Notice (SCN) and promptly submit it to project engineering in the event of overruns or scope changes
9. Identify potential interdisciplinary conflicts or challenges early on and work with other leads to devise mitigation strategies
10. Ensure proper documentation of interdisciplinary decisions, changes, and progress, and reporting to higher management and stakeholders

Education Qualifications- Bachelors degree in engineering or technology (Mechanical Preferred) from recognized institute

Experience-

1. Minimum 6 +yrs, Exp range 6-12 years of DEC experience in Refinery/Petrochemical/O&G etc.
2. Site experience in relevant field like brown field projects etc.will be added advantage
