JOB SUMMARY
The Training Manager – Learning & Organizational Development will report to the Head – Learning & Development and will be responsible for designing, delivering, and institutionalizing capability-building interventions across the hospital network.
This role bridges learning strategy and execution, ensuring training initiatives translate into measurable behavioral change, operational excellence, leadership effectiveness, and enhanced patient experience. The incumbent will work closely with business leaders, HR partners, and clinical teams to embed learning into everyday work.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Learning Strategy & Program Design
- Translate organizational priorities into structured learning roadmaps covering clinical, behavioral, leadership, and compliance programs.
- Design competency-based learning journeys aligned with hospital values, NABH standards, and patient-centric care.
- Partner with functional and clinical leaders to identify capability gaps using performance data, feedback, audits, and business metrics.
2. Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Personally facilitate high-impact programs such as managerial effectiveness, communication skills, patient experience, culture, and behavioral interventions.
- Curate and manage internal faculty, certified internal trainers, and external training partners.
- Ensure learning methodologies are adult-learning driven, experiential, application-focused, and outcome-oriented.
3. Learning Governance & Systems
- Own the end-to-end training lifecycle: Training Needs Analysis (TNA), program design, delivery, assessment, and impact measurement.
- Maintain training calendars, records, documentation, SOPs, and audit-ready systems.
- Support accreditation, compliance, and quality requirements including NABH and internal audits.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted learning advisor to department heads, HR business partners, and senior leadership.
- Present learning dashboards, program impact reports, and insights to leadership forums.
- Drive high engagement and participation across diverse employee populations and shifts.
5. Capability Building & Learning Culture
- Build internal trainer capability and strengthen the train-the-trainer ecosystem.
- Promote a continuous learning culture through coaching, on-the-job learning, and reinforcement mechanisms.
- Embed learning into daily operations to ensure sustained behavioral and performance improvement.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Graduate / Postgraduate; certification in Training, OD, or Learning & Development preferred.
- Experience: 8–12+ years in learning & development, with exposure to hospitals, healthcare, or regulated environments preferred.
- Industry Exposure: Multi-site hospital or healthcare group experience is an advantage.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Training needs analysis, instructional design, and facilitation.
- Adult learning methodologies and learning evaluation frameworks
- Familiarity with NABH standards, quality systems, and compliance-driven training environments
