Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Engineer to join our team at Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre in Mumbai. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a work experience of 4 to 6 years. The Shift Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining the hospital's infrastructure, ensuring safety, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in preventive maintenance of hospital equipment to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in mechanical systems repair with hands-on experience in troubleshooting issues promptly (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in maintaining and managing MEP services with a focus on quality standards and compliance (Mandatory skill).
• Strong understanding of machinery and associated services to maintain hospital operations smoothly.
• Ability to conduct performance evaluation of chiller plant systems for optimal functioning.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing engineering challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with various departments and ensure smooth operations.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on hospital equipment to avoid unexpected failures and downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical system issues to ensure that all hospital machinery operates efficiently.
• Oversee MEP services ensuring adherence to compliance standards and regulations.
• Conduct evaluations and performance tests on the chiller plant systems to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Coordinate with facility management to implement improvements and upgrades to the engineering systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and service reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address infrastructure concerns and improvements.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and guidelines, mitigating risks to staff and patients.
