Job Title: Senior Resident – Orthopaedics

Reporting To: Consultant / Head of Department – Orthopaedics

Position Type: Full-Time, Contractual

Job Summary:

The Senior Resident will assist in the clinical, academic, and administrative functions of the Orthopaedics department. This includes managing in-patient care, outpatient clinics, emergency duties, assisting in surgeries, and taking part in academic teaching and training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily rounds and manage admitted orthopaedic patients under the supervision of faculty.
• Assist in performing surgeries, emergency procedures, and trauma management.
• Attend OPDs and follow-up clinics as per departmental schedule.
• Provide on-call coverage as per the departmental roster.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in the hospital information system.
• Ensure pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Participate in departmental academic activities, including seminars, journal clubs, and case presentations.
• Supervise and train interns and junior residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Any other responsibility as assigned by the Director on the need basis

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: MS / DNB in Orthopaedics from a recognized institute.
• Registration: Must have a valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or respective State Medical Council.
• Experience: Freshers or those with prior experience as Junior/Senior Resident in Orthopaedics may apply.

Remuneration:

As per institutional norms and experience.
