Qualifications and Skills

The candidate must possess a qualified MBBS degree in addition to DNB, MD, or MS in Ophthalmology. A valid regional license is mandatory, along with 1 to 4 years of experience in the field.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of Director/Consultants.
• Assist Director/Consultants in conducting OPD and clinical activities as specified and per granted privileges.
• Conduct free OPDs and Executive Health Check-ups as per privileges under the supervision of consultants.
• Manage casualty cases under the supervision of consultants.
• Collate and analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose diseases.
• Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and comprehensive medical care to treat or prevent illness, under consultants’ guidance.
• Explain procedures, obtain consents, and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and families.
• Coordinate with the admission hub, OT staff, and billing section for booking OT – applicable for all surgery-related Clinical Assistants/Associates and HMOs.
