Job Description
Position Title: Resident/Senior Resident – Critical Care
Department: Critical Care
Location: Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital, Girgaon, Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
- Management of critically ill patients in ICU under supervision of Consultants
- Monitoring and interpretation of hemodynamic, respiratory, neurological and renal parameters
- Performing emergency procedures like intubation, central line insertion, arterial line insertion, tracheostomy, etc.
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Assisting consultants in advanced therapies including CRRT, ECMO, and mechanical ventilation strategies
- Participation in academic activities, research, and clinical audits
- Teaching and training of junior residents, fellows, nurses, and allied staff
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: MD / DNB in Medicine / Anaesthesia / Pulmonary Medicine / Emergency Medicine / Critical Care Medicine
- Candidates with IDCCM / IFCCM / DM Critical Care Medicine will be preferred
- Experience: 0–7 years post MD/DNB (freshers may also apply)
- Registration: Valid Maharashtra Medical Council registration
- Good communication, teamwork, and patient management skills
- Commitment to academic learning and research
