Job Title: Medical Services / Medical Administration 

Department: Medical Services

Qual:  MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BPT

Desirable: MBA/MHA/PG in Hospital & Healthcare Management

Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in Medical Services / Clinical Administration


Job Purpose

To support the day‑to‑day functioning of clinical services at Andheri Unit by coordinating with Consultants, Nursing, Diagnostics, Operations, and Quality teams . The role ensures smooth clinical workflows, adherence to documentation and accreditation processes, timely consultant support, and resolution of medical‑adjacent operational issues .


Accountabilities

Clinical Operations Coordination

  • Support daily functioning of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and procedural areas.
  • Coordinate between Consultants, Nursing, Diagnostics, Pharmacy, and Operations for seamless patient care.
  • Address basic operational issues impacting clinical workflows and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.

 

Consultant Engagement & Support

  • Assist with consultant empanelment, credentialing, and documentation.
  • Coordinate OPD schedules, on‑call duties, and roster updates.
  • Facilitate consultant requirements during clinics, procedures, rounds, and investigations.

 

Quality, Safety & Accreditation Support (NABH/JCI)

  • Ensure clinical documentation, checklists, and statutory files are updated and compliant.
  • Support clinical audits (case sheets, medication audits, crash cart audits, etc.).
  • Assist in closing CAPA points and maintaining departmental readiness for inspections.

 

Patient Safety & Incident Management

  • Facilitate incident reporting and ensure timely documentation.
  • Support RCA follow‑up activities and patient safety initiatives (handover protocols, ID protocols, Code Blue/Red readiness).
  • Coordinate MRC/MRM case documentation where required.


Clinical Documentation & Medical Records Governance

  • Monitor completeness of case sheets, consent forms, discharge summaries and orders.
  • Coordinate with Consultants and RMOs for DS TAT and documentation accuracy.
  • Support MRD for record retrieval, audits and compliance.


Doctor Staffing & Clinical Manpower Coordination

  • Assist in RMO, Registrar and DNB resident roster management (if applicable).
  • Support induction, training and competency mapping of junior doctors.
  • Monitor duty roster adherence and manage daily coverage needs.

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance Support

  • Support compliance with PNDT, AERB, Biomedical Waste and other statutory norms.
  • Assist in preparation for regulatory inspections and documentation readiness.
  • Coordinate with Pharmacy for Drug & Cosmetic Act requirements.

Data, Reporting & Clinical Analytics

  • Maintain dashboards for key clinical indicators (mortality, morbidity, infection rates, Code Blue metrics, etc.).
  • Prepare data for monthly clinical governance meetings and accreditation audits.
  • Identify gaps and share insights for improvement initiatives.
