Position :Floor Executive
Sub Function : Facility Operations Management
Department : Food & Beverage
Key Responsibilities: Customer(Patient and Relative)
To be the single point of contact for all the services needed by the patient and there relative within the assigned floor.
Ensure comfortable stay of the VIP patients within the assigned floor through effective delivery of services in coordination of the other departments within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities: Operations (Core area)
Pre Arrival of the VIP patients/ Ascertainment of Patient history.
Gather information pertaining to the likes, dislikes, traits of the VIP patients. E.g.- Food habits, Allergens / Making arrangements for avoiding any previous complaints received.
Make necessary arrangements according to the information gathered / Conducting briefing for the Floor Steward and Runner to make sure they are aware of the requirements.
Coordinate with the day-to-day activities like misc-en-place, proper stacking of the pantry, and availability of the CGS.
On Arrival
Personally meet the VIP patient along with butler on his/her arrival in the room.
Familiarize the room to the VIP patient/relative so that the VIP patient feels at ease and be aware of the various inclusions.
Assist in packing and unpacking of the luggage etc. and also arranging the clothes, personalized items according to the VIP patient’s instructions/request.- specific to 19th south/ Checking on various other facilities like , requirement of the wi-fi or anything else.
During the Stay
Attempt to arrange and deliver any services required from outside the hospital as per the hospital norms.eg: out of the menu request only after the concern of dietician. Going that extra mile to satisfy the need of the Patient or Relative within the parameters of the hospital.
F & B service
Coordinate with the dietician for any given food preferences given by the patient so that the health of the patient is not affected. Also, ascertaining if Patient is able to consume any specific food in case asked or is there any suitable substitute that can be offered.
Coordinate with the kitchen for priority delivery of all the meals. / Ensuring the ingredients not to be used are highlighted beforehand to the chef.
Ensure that the food is as per the Clinical requirements and presented beautifully in appropriate hollowware or silver.
Ensure all service gear/tray set up are in place.
Ensure the temperature of the food at the time of service is as per food standard and there is no scope of food contamination or spoilage.
Ensure personalized service of food at all meals so that the VIP patient/relative has comfortable stay in the hospital.
Ensure all clearances of the floor are done personally and hygienically. Ensuring the menu and requirement for the next meal are discussed with the Patient and Relative for smooth functioning.
Others
Ensure upkeep of the room facilities to the top standards in coordination with the House Keeping, Engineering and Maintenance etc.- specific to 19th south/ Any snag are to be brought into the notice of the department concerned and taking ownership to rectify it within given timeframe.
Ensure VIP patient’s privacy is maintained at all times. / Any sensitive information related to identity, heath condition, dietary restrictions are kept confined within the department.
Coordinate with security of the patient and the hospital to ensure safety/privacy of the VIP patient.
