We currently have openings for ‘Fire Alarm Technician’, details for the same are given below

Candidates Requirement: -

·        Graduation and GED (Technical certification preferred)

·        NICET certification (Level I–III) in Fire Alarm Systems preferred

·        Knowledge of NFPA codes, especially NFPA 72 and NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code)

·        Experience with hospital or healthcare facility systems preferred

·        Understanding of fire alarm control panels (e.g., Simplex, Notifier, Siemens, Edwards)

·        Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

·        Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Job Profile: -

·        Perform routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) standards.

·        Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fire alarm panels, smoke detectors, pull stations, heat detectors, horn/strobes, and annunciators.

·        Conduct scheduled fire drills in coordination with hospital administration and safety teams.

·        Maintain and test emergency communication systems and mass notification systems.

·        Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), state health departments, and local fire marshal regulations.

·        Maintain accurate records of inspections, deficiencies, repairs, and corrective actions.

·        Coordinate with contractors and vendors for system upgrades or major repairs.

·        Respond promptly to fire alarm activations and system faults.

·        Minimize disruptions to patient care areas while performing work.

·        Participate in safety committees and emergency preparedness planning.
