Job Description:

• Act as the single point of contact for all services required by VIP patients and their relatives.
• Ensure a comfortable and seamless stay through coordination with various hospital departments.
• Gather detailed information on patient preferences, such as likes, dislikes, food habits, allergens, and traits from previous visits.
• Coordinate with departments for room readiness, pantry setup, and service alignment.
• Pre-place all VIP amenities in the room before the patient’s arrival.
• Personally introduce yourself to the patient and their family.
• Familiarize the patient and relatives with the room and available facilities.
• Assist with unpacking and packing of luggage.
• Provide support for any non-clinical needs.
• Reconfirm patient preferences and room temperature for comfort.
• Help schedule and coordinate doctor appointments.
• Support billing and payment processes.
• Coordinate all required hospital services during the patient’s stay.
• Work with the dietician to align food preferences with clinical dietary needs.
• Coordinate with the kitchen for timely and priority delivery of meals.
• Ensure personalized food service at every meal.
• Confirm food is served at the correct temperature and as per standards.
• Ensure tray setup and service gear are complete.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and presentation.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room cleanliness.
• Liaise with engineering and maintenance for any room-related issues.
• Ensure upkeep of all room facilities to top standards.
• Maintain patient privacy at all times.
• Work with hospital security to ensure safety and restricted access.
• Personally manage all discharge and clearance processes hygienically.
• Ensure accurate billing for all services.
• Raise A&G requests for all non-chargeable items.
• Maintain pantry cleanliness and upkeep.
• Manage inventory of amenities and consumables.
• Update hygiene records regularly.
• Keep the butler log book current.
• Update the preference and allergen board as needed.
• Raise amenity requisitions in a timely manner.
