Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Departmental Coordinator to support our Anesthesia department at our Mumbai location. This is a full-time position requiring 2 to 6 years of experience in hospital operations, preferably within OT coordination or anesthesia support roles. The ideal candidate will oversee scheduling, documentation, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure the department functions efficiently and aligns with clinical and operational standards.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduation (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

• Administrative Support
• Provide secretarial and administrative assistance to the Head of Department and Consultant Anesthetists, managing correspondence and daily tasks.
• Scheduling & Coordination
• Organize anesthesia schedules aligned with OT planning, ensuring availability for surgeries and pre-op assessments.
• Documentation Management
• Maintain anesthesia-related records including checklists, consent forms, and post-op notes with accuracy and compliance.
• Team Liaison
• Coordinate with OT, surgical, nursing, biomedical, and stores teams to ensure seamless anesthesia service delivery.
• Duty Rosters & Leave Management
• Prepare duty rosters and manage leave calendars to ensure proper staffing.
• Meeting & Quality Support
• Arrange meetings, document minutes, assist with CMEs and quality initiatives, ensuring adherence to safety and accreditation standards.
• Resource Management & Coverage
• Monitor anesthesia equipment and supplies, provide coverage during staff absences, and support efficient resource use.
