  • Manage and conduct Executive Health Check-up (EHC) package for patients on daily basis with the Director and the consultants
  • Perform routine dental procedures like oral prophylaxis, fluoride application, extractions, restorations, root canals, crown and bridge, post and core, complete and partial dentures and other preventive procedures, and establish a plan for better dental health and hygiene as per clinical privileges
  • Prescribe medications for dental ailments, such as antibiotics, analgesics, topical ointments and mouthwash as per clinical privileges
  • Collect and collate and analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose dental disease of the patient
  • Obtain consent from patient/patient relatives in OPD and IPD for dental and maxillofacial procedures
  • Follow infection control protocols during OPD and IPD procedures.
  • Prepare and release discharge summary as advised by the primary consultants
  • Assist all consultants in OPD, Ambulatory and OT during minor and major dental and maxillofacial procedures
  • Provide post-operative instructions and carry out discharge process as directed by the consultants
  • Explain procedures and discuss dental investigation results or prescribed treatments with patient and family
  • Educate patients about oral health, hygiene, brushing techniques, flossing and other preventive methods
  • Active participation in all dental check-up camps conducted through the organization
  • Manage and communicate with other staff members to provide care to the patients
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary and discuss the same with the treating Consultant
  • Conduct regular ward rounds at a time that facilitates efficient patient flow and meets treatment objectives to assure continuity of patient care
  • Identify patient's risk status and act appropriately
  • Maintain and update documentation in Hospital Information System with respect to assigned clinical responsibilities including patient history, clinical assessment, prescriptions, medications, progress notes, investigations, discharge notes and any other medical records
  • Ensure accurate exchange of information during care transition and transfer of patients ensuring that patient privacy and confidentiality is duly protected at all the times
  • Follow use of evidence based practice to ensure patient safety
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines and departments to execute effective and appropriate treatment plans for individual patients
  • Participate in interdepartmental meetings, committees and fulfill the responsibilities as assigned
  • Attend to on call emergency care in case of need
  • Participate as per the defined role during any internal / external disaster 
  • Any other responsibility as assigned by the organization on the need basis
