Job Title: Data Analyst

Department: Supply Chain & Procurement

Location: Mumbai

Role Purpose

The Data Analyst will support the Procurement team by leveraging data analytics to drive informed decision-making, optimize sourcing strategies, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance. This role will focus on building dashboards, analyzing spend patterns, forecasting demand, and enabling cost savings through actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

1) Data Management & Analysis

• Collect, clean, and validate procurement data from SAP MM/Ariba, vendor portals, and internal systems.
• Analyze spend data by category (CAPEX/OPEX), supplier, and department to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for savings.
• Perform ABC/XYZ analysis, price benchmarking, and consumption pattern studies.

2) Reporting & Dashboards

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik) for procurement KPIs:
• Savings vs. baseline
• OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery
• SLA compliance
• Inventory turns & stockout rates
• Contract coverage & on-contract spend
• Automate recurring reports for management reviews and audit readiness.

3) Forecasting & Planning Support

• Build predictive models for demand forecasting of consumables and CAPEX project timelines.
• Support annual budgeting and procurement planning with data-driven insights.

4) Compliance & Audit Support

• Ensure data integrity for NABH/NABL, internal audits, and statutory compliance.
• Maintain documentation for tender evaluations, vendor scorecards, and approval workflows.

5) Process Improvement & Digital Enablement

• Identify process gaps and recommend automation opportunities in procurement workflows.
• Collaborate with IT for data integration between SAP and BI tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or Commerce; MBA or certification in analytics preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in procurement or supply chain.
• Proficiency in Power BI/Tableau/Qlik, Excel (advanced), and SQL; knowledge of Python/R is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP MM/Ariba and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and visualization skills.
