Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the hospital’s marketing strategy through data-driven insights, process optimization, and performance analysis. This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help the CMO’s team make informed decisions that enhance patient acquisition, brand visibility, and marketing ROI.

With strong analytical skills, experience in business analysis within healthcare or service industries, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations, the role requires close collaboration with digital marketing, operations, finance, and IT teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources (CRM, website analytics, patient feedback, campaign performance).
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track marketing KPIs, patient acquisition trends, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize marketing spend and improve ROI.

2. Business Process Analysis

  • Map and analyze existing marketing processes to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Recommend process improvements for better lead management, patient engagement, and conversion tracking.
  • Support automation initiatives for marketing workflows.

3. Market & Competitor Research

  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, patient behavior patterns, and competitive positioning.
  • Provide insights on pricing strategies, service demand, and digital engagement benchmarks.

4. Requirement Gathering & Documentation

  • Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements for new marketing tools, CRM enhancements, and analytics platforms.
  • Prepare detailed BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and functional specifications for IT/development teams.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with digital marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for analytics tools and marketing technology solutions.

6. Compliance & Data Governance

  • Ensure all data handling complies with healthcare regulations and privacy standards (HIPAA/local norms).
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across marketing systems.


Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • MBA or certification in Business Analysis (CBAP) preferred.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in healthcare or service industry.
  • Exposure to marketing analytics and CRM systems is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, reporting, and visualization techniques.

Analytical & Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
