Job Summary:


The Team Associate – Battery Warehouse / Stores will support warehouse operations related to battery materials, components, and finished goods. The role will ensure safe handling, proper storage, inventory accuracy, and timely material movement while adhering to safety and quality standards required for battery storage and handling.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing battery materials, cells, and components as per defined warehouse procedures.
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of battery products in accordance with safety and compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of inward and outward material movement in ERP systems.
  • Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and storage conditions for battery materials.
  • Support inventory management, stock reconciliation, and periodic cycle counts.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams for material availability and dispatch.
  • Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices and maintain material traceability.
  • Maintain warehouse safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards, especially for battery storage requirements.
  • Support dispatch and packaging of battery products as per operational requirements.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related discipline.
  • 1–4 years of experience in warehouse/store operations, preferably in manufacturing or battery/chemical industries.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Understanding of material handling and warehouse documentation processes.


Preferred Skills:


  • Knowledge of battery material handling or hazardous material storage practices.
  • Understanding of inventory control, GRN process, and stock management.
  • Awareness of warehouse safety and EHS guidelines.
