Job Purpose:

The Application Lead will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications that support the Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) manufacturing site’s operations & business. This includes LIMS, Remote monitoring interfaces, and custom applications. The role ensures reliable application performance, manages stakeholder expectations, leads solution design, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver IT-enabled process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Lead end-to-end application lifecycle management—from requirement gathering to deployment and support.

·      Act as the primary point of contact for all business-critical applications used at the site.

·      Manage configuration, upgrades, integration, and documentation of enterprise and manufacturing applications (e.g., LIMS, MForms, Remote Monitoring Applications etc.).

·      Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across systems.

·      Drive application-related projects including upgrades, rollouts, and new module implementations.

·      Develop detailed project plans and manage timelines, budgets, and resources.

·      Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and IT teams for solution delivery.

·      Liaise with production, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to understand business needs and translate them into IT solutions.

·      Provide training and support to key users and ensure adoption of best practices.

·      Lead root cause analysis of application issues and implement preventive measures.

·      Ensure minimal disruption to operations during application changes or maintenance activities.

·      Maintain compliance with internal IT policies, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines

·      Document application architecture, workflows, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.

·      Mentor and guide junior application development and support staff.

·      Foster a culture of continuous learning and process improvement.

Key Requirement: B.E/B.Tech with relevant experience of 10-15 years
