Job Purpose:

Lead land development initiatives - covering planning through handover, to support Energy Plantation farms and infrastructure roll‑out. Ensure all land‑based works (site planning, earthworks, security, irrigation, etc.) are delivered on time, within budget, compliant with regulations, and ready for handover to the Farming Operations Team.


Key Responsibilities:

 Prepare and maintain comprehensive land development master plans, incorporating site surveys, feasibility studies, and GIS data.

 Oversee infrastructure development including access roads, utility connections (power, water, communications), and site drainage.

 Manage contractors and vendors to deliver civil and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) works as per defined specifications.

 Supervise design and commissioning of farm ponds to support water storage and aquifer recharge, ensuring structural integrity, capacity, and environmental safeguards in pond construction.

 Lead soil rejuvenation including clearance, soil amendment, bio-remediation, and erosion control measures.

 Ensure perimeter fencing, access control points, and surveillance layouts to meet safety and security protocols.

 Oversee system installation and commissioning for irrigation network (drip, sprinkler) and subsurface drainage systems, and validate performance through flow tests.

 Monitor modular farm layout installation at scale, ensuring adherence to design specifications and efficient workflows.

 Develop and deliver comprehensive handover packages (as built drawings, manuals, and SOPs), training sessions and site walk throughs for Farming Operations readiness.

Critical Competencies:

 Civil engineering and infrastructure management

 Strategic land use planning; soil science understanding

 Contract negotiation and vendor management

 Leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement


Ideal Background:

 Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

 10+ years of experience in land development or infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.

 Demonstrated track record in delivering land-based works (site planning, earthworks, irrigation) for agricultural or energy sectors.

 Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and manage third party contractors under tight schedules.
