Job Description: Digitization Lead – Logistics

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the digitization of logistics operations within our fast-growing Bio Energy business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in conceptualizing, developing, and implementing end-to-end supply chain digital tools, leveraging SAP, BI, and other SCM technologies to enhance operational efficiency, visibility, and control.

Key Responsibilities

1. Development of Customized Software Solutions

• Gather business requirements, validate existing processes, and design “As-Is” vs “To-Be” system workflows.
• Lead the development and deployment of tailored software solutions to streamline logistics operations.

2. System & Data Analysis

• Perform KPI analysis, trend tracking, and root cause identification for logistics performance improvement.
• Ensure data integrity and integration across SAP and other SCM platforms.

3. Dashboard & Reporting Development

• Build and manage real-time dashboards using BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools to support strategic and operational decisions.

4. Digital Systems Development & Integration

Support and oversee the ongoing development of key digital initiatives, including:

• End-to-End SAP Cycle: Truck-in to ePOD (Electronic Proof of Delivery)
• TYMS: Truck Yard Management System
• DMS: Driver Management System
• CBG Truck Prioritization: Synchronization & routing
• VTS: Vehicle Tracking System
• BELT: Bio Energy Logistics Control Tower
• FMS: Freight Management System (Workflow Automation)

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in SAP (preferably HANA), Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and Tableau.
• Proven experience in digital transformation of logistics/supply chain functions.
• Sound understanding of hardware-software integrations and vendor system interfaces.
• Strong project management, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable digital solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or IT-related disciplines.
• Prior experience in designing and implementing logistics automation systems.
• Exposure to Bio Energy, Renewable, or Manufacturing sectors is a plus.
