Job Purpose:

To lead and coordinate IT operations across multiple CBG plant locations in different states. This role ensures the consistent delivery of IT services, smooth functioning of digital applications, infrastructure reliability, and effective collaboration between central IT and site-level teams for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Operations Oversight:

• Ensure seamless day-to-day IT operations across all assigned CBG sites, including uptime of networks, servers, applications, and IoT systems.
• Act as the first point of escalation for site-level IT issues and coordinate quick resolutions.

Coordination with Local Teams:

• Liaise with site-level digital leads, engineers, and operators to understand needs and support issues.
• Provide operational guidance and mentorship to local IT staff to ensure standard practices and tools are followed.

Service Delivery & Uptime Assurance:

• Monitor digital services (applications, connectivity, CCTV, dashboards) across sites to ensure high availability.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and incident management for infrastructure and applications.

Multi-State Support Planning:

• Plan and execute site visits and digital health audits in coordination with central IT teams.
• Coordinate IT deployments during new plant commissioning or upgrades across states.

Compliance, Safety & Documentation:

• Ensure adherence to IT policies, cybersecurity protocols, and data compliance standards.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, software licenses, incident logs, and user access controls.

Project & Change Management:

• Support deployment of new digital initiatives such as remote monitoring, energy dashboards, etc
• Assist in change management, user training, and feedback collection during digital transitions at site level.

Key Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech/MCA
• Strong understanding of plant digital systems including SCADA, PLC, IoT sensors, CCTV, and ERP integrations.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams, vendors, and multiple plant priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across different states for site coordination.
