Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic professional to manage the Logistics Control Tower, responsible for providing real-time visibility, data-driven insights, and operational coordination across the logistics value chain. The role will focus on monitoring fleet movement, analyzing performance, and driving efficiency and safety through proactive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Performance Monitoring & Analysis

• Conduct KPI tracking, outlier detection, and trend analysis to identify performance gaps and improvement areas.
• Provide actionable insights for optimizing logistics operations and cost efficiency.

2. Truck Prioritization & Synchronization

• Manage CBG truck movement through effective prioritization and synchronization across sites.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure timely turnaround and dispatch.

3. Asset Utilization & Tracking

• Monitor asset utilization levels to maximize fleet efficiency and minimize idle time.
• Oversee GPS tracking of vehicles and initiate corrective or preventive actions in case of deviations.

4. Safety & Compliance Monitoring

• Track safety adherence across the logistics network and initiate actions for non-compliance.
• Support risk management initiatives in collaboration with the Safety team.

5. Cost & Lead Time Analysis

• Conduct lead time and cost analysis to optimize routes, resource allocation, and transport economics.
• Prepare periodic reports and dashboards for management review.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in BI tools, Excel, SAP, GPS/VTS systems, and logistics dashboards.
• Good understanding of fleet management, dispatch operations, and transport safety.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and make quick data-driven decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Logistics Management.
• Experience in Control Tower operations or transport analytics in large-scale logistics setups.
• Exposure to Bio Energy, Renewable, or Manufacturing industries is an advantage.
