Compliance with company law and related legislations, excise laws, FSSA laws, handling trademarks and related issues, advising on GST and Customs issues, advising on legal issues, handling litigations, drafting agreements, liaison with trade associations and overseeing IT infrastructure and administration, carry out extensive correspondence on a variety of subjects, assisting in preparation of company profiles, product profiles and a variety of presentations

  • Compliance with Company Law (maintenance of statutory registers, preparation of Board minutes, conduct of General Meetings and preparation of minutes thereof, filing periodic returns including XBRL returns, etc, preparation of Annual Directors Report, designing and printing of Annual Report, etc)

 


  • Dealing with Trademark matters (advising on availability, securing registrations in a number of jurisdictions – India, UK, EU, USA, Canada, China, etc – ensuring renewals, reviewing Trademark Journal (TMJ), monitoring of TM applications in all jurisdictions and filing oppositions where appropriate, advising on new proposed trademarks, assisting in coining new marks, etc)

 


  • Drafting of agreements for bottling, leasing, brand licensing, appointment of marketing agencies and a variety of others

 


  • Dealing with FSSAI matters, securing of new licenses and ensuring renewals of 6 FSSA licenses
  • Thorough knowledge of state Excise Laws particularly laws in Karnataka and Kerala
  • Advising on all contractual and other legal issues; thorough knowledge of laws governing contracts, sale of goods, transfer of property, partnerships and LLP’s; handling litigations

 


  • Advising on policy issues concerning GST; drafting, filing and handling complaints with National Anti-Profiteering Agency (NAA)

 


  • Advising on Customs related issues
  • Participation and association in legal issues on labor related matters
  • Implement company’s CSR policy, maintain necessary records and assist in evaluating CSR proposals
  • Assist in the development of promotional literature, presentations, etc
  • Securing and maintaining currency of Spirit Verification by HMRC
  • Liaison with Trade Associations, Registrar of Companies, etc
  • Maintain ADBVI records and accounts
  • Liaise with secretarial auditor
  • Drafting pleadings; correspondence on a multiple and variety of subjects
  • Winding up issues
  • Handling associate company matters (BCMC, ASHISH, SERDF)
  • Maintenance of IT infrastructure at all locations, Net infrastructure
  • e-mail administration

  • Oversee development and maintenance of custom-built software
