BE Civil + NICMAR (equivalent) required. Prior working in building segment, majority should be from contracting. QS + making proposal. Required between 5 – 15 yrs

Studies the RFP requirements thoroughly, making sure all information is

always communicated to the working team.

 Arranges and leads a preliminary kick-off meeting, notifying the different D&B

departments of the project details and preliminary requirements.

 Arranges and supervises a project understanding meeting, wherein the

different D&B disciplines present their understanding of the scope of the

project to make sure everyone is on the same page

 Floating Request for Proposal (RFP) to the shortlisted consultants to obtain

successful quotes for preparing a comparative statement before consultant

finalization by the Proposal Head.

 Obtaining quotations of specialized bought out items from

shortlisted/approved vendors as per tender documents, and making a

comparative amongst them, which aids RO to consider a competitive cost

 Creates Roles & Responsibility Matrix for the designated Proposal Team as

well as the Consultant (if any) and the Regional Office

 Delegates the quantity take off and vendor management activities to team

members based on their strengths and weaknesses in the aspect, whilst

supervising the same throughout the length of the project

 Creates the Bill of Items for approval from the Proposal Head and RO, making

sure all information specified in the said document is correct and to

everyone’s comfort

 Inputs quantities and cost (elements vary from project to project) into the Bill

of Items after vetting the information received from the working team

 Preparing rate analysis, IDC in co-ordination with RO and other components

of the project cost to arrive at a competitive bid price.

 Makes sure all documents are filed and stored correctly after submission for

auditing and post award purposes

 Hands over the entire proposal documents to the post award team if the bid is

successful and vets the LOI from the Client in the said scenario.

 Makes comparative statements for similar projects/proposals sorted by the

building type.
