Position: Tool Room Manager Job Description: Tool Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts. Ensure the availability and functionality of tools required for production and maintenance. Tool Procurement: Source and purchase tools and equipment as needed, considering cost-effectiveness and quality. Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts when necessary. Tool Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of tools to prolong their lifespan and ensure safe usage. Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance activities. Supervision: Lead a team of tool room technicians and staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Delegate tasks and ensure the team's efficiency. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines within the tool room to prevent accidents and injuries. Ensure that staff follows safety procedures when handling tools and equipment.
