JD for Quality Control and R & D
Responsibilities
- Collection of representative samples from the mining sites
- Sample preparations
- Testing the Feldspar material in furnace and checking the fired cones.
- Confirmation to Quality control team for approval of stocks for dispatch.
- Quality testing of Inward Materials.
- Quality testing of in process Stage
- Quality testing of Finished Products
- Production Planning
- Quality External Inspections
- Team handling
- Co-ordination with other Departments with positive impact on good relationship
- Support to production department to achieve export quality and quantity as well
- Handling ship hatch inspection prior to Raw material uploading at time of EXPORT.
- Start to end responsibility to prevent contamination during the raw material upload.
- Preparation of documentation for DDMG vigilance clearance for the expiry of lumps as well as chips.
- Having experience to recover good quantity material in the mining process.
- Deal with the transporter to receive the raw material from various mines at the same also make vehicle planning for the dispatches whether it is export or domestic
- Flame photometer operation
- Muffle furnaces operation
- Raw material R & D
- Orion Software ( GRN BOOKING, RAW MATERIAL ISSUES, PRODUCTION ENTRIES, STOCK STATEMENTS)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master degree in Chemistry
- 7+ years' relevant work experience
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
