Job Description: PRESS MANAGER

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the Production and Maintenance of Press and Dryer Department in 2 Tile Plants.

2. To ensure that all the presses are under operations with maximum productivity and minimum wastage

3. Maintenance of Chiller / Cooing Tower

4. To Maintain Press, Drier and Chiller Power consumption as per standard target

5. To Maintain Drier Gas consumption as per Standard Target

6. Plan and Manage Fast Mould change activity with minimal kiln gap

7. Responsible for the moulds assembly and maintenance

8. To maintain optimum stock of punches, Moulds and Spares and place orders when necessary

9. To train all the operators and technicians to support the production and improve the productivity

10. Conduct Regular inspection of machineries and resolve the problems

11. To maintain records for production, Quality, Rejection, Yearly maintenance Schedules, Monthly Maintenance cost, Punch consumption reports, Power and gas consumption reports, and Yearly mould change calendar

12. Track the expenses and oversee the budget for the maintenance

13. Ensure all maintenance worker adhere to the safety policies and procedures

14. To have good communication with all the department heads

15. To report to the DGM on day-to-day operations

Requirements:

1. Diploma/ B. Tech in Mechanical (or)Electro Mechanical

2. 15-20 years of experience in Press and Drier Production & Maintenance

3. Knowledge of fast trouble shooting in Sacmi Hydraulic press & Driers

4. Well Knowledge in SMU, SPE Moulds assembly and Maintenance, feeder Box

5. Must Require Experience in Double charge production

6. Well Knowledge in AutoCAD

7. Excellent Organizational and leadership abilities

8. Exemptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills
