Job Description: Medical Officer

Designation: Experience Medical Officer

Salary: As per experience and assessment

Qualification: Fresher/Retired MBBS

Registration: must have a MCI No

Qualification: MBBS (from Recognized College or University)

Preferred: ACLS (Advance certificate of life support)


Roles And Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for treating patients undergoing treatment, handling emergency
  • Training of the nursing and other paramedical staff.
  • To be available on call after working hours for clinical and administrative support.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients requiring dialysis.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and oversee the execution of dialysis protocols
  • Monitor patients' health during dialysis and manage complications such as hypotension, fluid overload, or infections.
  • Supervise and support dialysis nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Provide guidance on best practices for dialysis care and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
  • Identify and manage dialysis-related complications, including access issues, infections, etc.
  • Coordinate emergency care as needed for patients experiencing adverse reactions or complications during dialysis
  • Work closely with nephrologists, nurses, and technicians to ensure patient safety and optimal care.
  • Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, potential complications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Address patient concerns, providing emotional support and guidance on managing dialysis-related health issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of dialysis care, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines & regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and training programs for staff.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, including patient treatment plans, progress notes, & incident reports.
  • Regularly report on patient outcomes and dialysis unit performance to senior management.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing healthcare teams.
  • Strong clinical knowledge in dialysis and nephrology.
  • Ability to diagnose and manage complex dialysis-related complications.
  • Knowledge of dialysis protocols and patient safety standards.
