Job Overview

We are seeking a talented GCP Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at Raah Techservices. This is a full-time, remote position based in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have between 4 to 6 years of professional experience, with a strong focus on GCP data engineering. As a Mid-Level GCP Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our data systems on the Google Cloud Platform.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience of 4 to 6 years in data engineering, with significant experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language (Mandatory skill)
• In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with GCP data services (Mandatory skill)
• Solid knowledge of cloud computing concepts and cloud infrastructure
• Experience in developing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows on cloud platforms
• Skilled in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimizing GCP resources
• Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into scalable data architectures
• Good understanding of security and compliance considerations related to cloud and data storage

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes on the Google Cloud Platform
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of data systems and storage solutions
• Monitor and maintain data integrity, accuracy, and security across all GCP data systems
• Perform data wrangling, transformation, and migration as per project needs
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data engineering issues in a timely manner
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies
