Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Bangalore

Experience : 5+ yrs


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the interior furniture and fitout sector, focusing on key industries like commercial, hospitality, retail, and residential.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to meet revenue and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their unique requirements and offering tailored solutions.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and initial consultation to contract negotiation and project handover.
  • Collaborate closely with internal design, production, and project management teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients’ needs are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Market Research & Strategy:
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to position Tripod Global as a leader in the interior fitout and furniture industry.
  • Develop pricing strategies and proposals to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Project Management Support:
  • Support the delivery of client projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and client specifications.
  • Monitor project milestones and identify opportunities for up-selling additional services or products.
  • Brand Promotion & Networking:
  • Represent Tripod Global at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and foster relationships.
  • Work closely with marketing and brand teams to align business development strategies with brand messaging and initiatives.


Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in business development or sales within the interior furniture and fitout industry, ideally with experience in commercial, residential, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle in interior fitouts and furniture manufacturing.
  • Established network within the design, architecture, or construction industries is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client relations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and project management software.


Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in project management or coordination within the interior design or fitout sectors.
  • Knowledge of current trends in interior design, furniture innovation, and sustainable practices.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus.
