The candidate will be in the role of an DevOps+AWS lead having a deep understanding of IT best practices and a constant thirst for new information. You will work in a fast-paced environment handling a team comprising of DevOps engineers to provide support to our clients. In this role, you will work directly with the teams for implementing strategies to increase profitability and productivity.

In this role you will play a vital role to provide up-front, timely, and efficient solutions to complex technical situations resulting in exceptional client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and an innovative thinker with a strong focus on client relationship, quality of delivery and a continuous focus on improving existing processes, procedures and applications. It is essential to have excellent communication and coordination skills to successfully integrate various functions in a coordinated manner and deliver the responsibilities to the customer s satisfaction.

# Experience and Required Skill Sets

- Minimum experience required is 5+years in IT industry

- Must be Certified-AWS Solutions Architect

- Experience with and interest in financial markets

- Strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture

- Experience working with monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, Grafana, SolarWinds etc.

- Hands-on experience with Linux servers (Ubuntu/RedHat Enterprise Linux)

- Hands-on experience with cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management

- Attention to detail, curiosity and experience in troubleshooting issues

- Extensive background in development and delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle

- Empathy for client s needs with strong negotiation and presentation skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical problems to nontechnical audiences

- Exposure to at least one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, C, C++, Golang

- Effective player coach with an ability to hold both playing (be it a part of daily operational activities or Incident and Problem management) and coaching duties to mentor the team

- Managing teams across multiple verticals responsible for designing and implementing new processes or improving existing ones

- Lead from a position of experience while creating opportunities for the team to grow as professionals as they develop new skills and capabilities

- Test our system integrity, implemented designs, application developments and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed

- Update our processes and design new processes as needed to optimize performance

- Deploy product updates as required while implementing integrations when they arise

- Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements

- Specifying, documenting, and developing new product features, and writing automating scripts so that others may understand

- Work with open-source technologies as needed

- Work with CI and CD tools, and source control such as GIT

- Offer good technical support where needed, developing software for our back-end systems

- Utilize analytical skills in determining the root cause of problems, demonstrate the ability to multi-task and

prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements

- Excellent communication skills backed by technical skills that allow you to own production support issues and collaborate with engineers to resolve issues within designated SLAs

- Work on the user queries and monitoring requests raised by business users providing timely updates to

concerned stakeholders

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and partner with development and support teams globally

# Preferred Skills

- Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS

- Strong experience with databases such as Memcached, Elastic search, Redis

- Strong experience with docker and microservices

- Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Bash

- Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban

- Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services

- Experience in working with Chef for automation and configuration

- Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management

- Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems

- Current with industry trends, IT ops and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement

- Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed, solid team player

# Educational Qualification

- Bachelor s Degree or Master s in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a

relevant field
