Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Specialist to ensure the highest quality standards in all printed materials. The successful candidate will oversee the inspection, testing, and approval of printed products, ensuring they meet company and industry standards. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining consistent quality, preventing defects, and optimizing production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and Test Printed Materials: Conduct thorough inspections of printed products to 

  ensure they meet required specifications, including color accuracy, paper quality, print

alignment and finish.

2.Identify Defects and Issues: Detect any defects, inconsistencies, or errors in printing, and work

with production teams to resolve issues.

3.Quality Control Procedures: Develop, implement, and refine standard operating procedures 

   for quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company 

   requirements.

4.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, 

  and any corrective actions taken. Prepare quality reports for management and stakeholders.

5.Collaboration with Production Teams: Work closely with the production team to ensure all 

  printed materials are produced according to specifications and address any quality concerns 

  quickly.

6.Calibration and Maintenance of Equipment: Ensure that printing machines and related 

  equipment are calibrated correctly and in good working condition to maintain optimal print 

   quality.

7.Conduct Random Sampling and Audits: Perform regular random sampling and audits of 

   finished products to assess consistency and quality across production batches.

8.Customer Feedback: Review customer feedback and returns related to print quality, identifying 

   root causes and recommending corrective actions.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred like Diploma in

Printing & Technology/BE in Printing and Technology/Diploma in Printing & Packaging/Printing

Background Preferred).

2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality control or production within the printing industry.

3. Strong understanding of printing processes, materials, and quality standards.

4. Proficient with color calibration tools, measurement devices, and other QC equipment.

5. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

6. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with digital printing, offset printing, or large format printing.

2. Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant quality certifications.
