Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT) is a global leader in Multimedia integrated circuits (ICs), software and systems for wireless consumer devices including Smartphones, Netbooks and E-readers. Our teams are developing advanced technologies to enhance mobile devices in areas including 2D and 3D graphics, audio/video, display and architecture. These Multimedia ASICS are co-designed with our Modems, Applications Processors, Analog Codecs and Power Management ICs to deliver highly-integrated, high-performance and low-cost chipsets to our customers and partners. You will be developing the industry's leading edge graphics processor, specific areas include 2D and 3D graphics, streaming processor, high speed IO interface and bus protocols.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Designing and simulating new graphics algorithms on GPU performance model
  • Collaboration with SW team and HW team to test and validate the new architecture proposals, alternative design options in terms of performance efficiency and functional correctness
  • GPU workload, bottleneck and performance analysis
  • Correlating performance between model and RTL to improve model accuracy.
  • Performance analysis flow automation.

Required

  • Programming experience in either: C++, C#, Python
  • Computer architecture knowledge/experience: pipelines, caches, latency, throughput
  • Graphics Programming experience: OpenGL and/or DirectX, OpenCL and/or CUDA, Vulkan
