Job Overview

PVR Limited seeks an Executive Duty Manager for our Bangalore Urban location. This full-time position requires an individual with a maximum of 30 years of work experience. As a Duty Manager, you will oversee cinema operations, ensuring optimal customer experiences, managing staff, and maintaining service excellence. This role requires strong leadership, operational skills, and inventory management to enhance the customer journey.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Team Leadership (Mandatory skill): Contribute positively to a productive team environment, providing guidance and motivation to achieve desired results.
  • Inventory Control (Mandatory skill): Efficiently manage stock and supplies, ensuring optimal levels are maintained to support cinema operations.
  • Customer Service Management: Deliver exceptional service by addressing customer needs promptly and ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Crisis Management: Ability to effectively identify, assess, and manage various crises to minimize impact on operations.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee daily cinema operations, making adjustments to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure deadlines are met and operations run smoothly without interruptions.
  • Staff Scheduling: Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal performance during operational hours.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts effectively to ensure a harmonious and productive work environment.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the cinema to ensure smooth functioning and quality service delivery.
  • Lead the team by setting standards, providing guidance, and motivating staff to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Oversee inventory control to ensure resources are available and accounted for as needed.
  • Implement and uphold crisis management strategies to efficiently handle unexpected situations without disrupting service.
  • Develop staff schedules to optimize shift coverage and operational performance.
  • Foster a culture of excellent customer service to enhance the overall cinema-going experience.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts among staff and patrons to maintain a positive environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and support for continuous improvement.
