Job Overview

This Service Engineer position is an entry-level, full-time role located in Dehradun. We are looking for a fresher with up to one year of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess essential skills in service management and solar energy, particularly solar photovoltaics. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art renewable energy solutions and contribute to maintaining PVblink’s reputation for excellent service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic understanding of service techniques related to photovoltaic systems and renewable energy components.
• Knowledge in solar energy systems, solar panels, and their practical applications in various settings.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to solar PV systems effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and delivering technical explanations clearly.
• Capability to work as part of a team, contributing to group problem-solving efforts and shared goals.
• Proficiency in time management to handle multiple service requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and solutions in the renewable energy sector.
• Attention to detail in documenting service activities and reporting issues to the R&D team as necessary.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance services and inspections on installed photovoltaic systems.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of solar PV projects for residential and commercial clients.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning PV systems to restore them to full operational capacity.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients about PV system functionalities and maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with the research and development team to suggest improvements based on field feedback.
• Document service and maintenance activities accurately for company records and client reference.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and local regulatory requirements during service tasks.
• Continuously update personal knowledge of solar energy products and industry trends to provide optimal service.
