Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paediatrician to join our Proactive For Her team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general paediatric consultations for patients, including diagnosing and treating common childhood illnesses and injuries.
• Administer vaccines according to recommended schedules and guidelines, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
• Develop & implement protocols for paediatric consultations, vaccines administration, and emergency situations, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create training protocols for support staff, including nurses and medical assistants, to ensure they are equipped to assist with paediatric care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on paediatric health issues, including preventive care, nutrition, and development milestones.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with developments in paediatric medicine, including new treatments, medications, and guidelines, and incorporate best practices into clinical practice.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review activities to continuously enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

Qualifications:

• Paediatrician MD/DNB from a recognised institute
• Active Medical License in Karnataka
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Strong clinical skills in paediatric medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care
• Proficiency in administering vaccines and managing paediatric emergencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development activities
