Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) specialist to join our team in Hyderabad. This full-time, mid-level role focuses on ensuring digital accessibility compliance through expert evaluation, testing, and implementation of WCAG standards across diverse web projects at Princo Solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in implementing and auditing for WCAG 2.1 or higher compliance within enterprise-level web applications and content.
• Strong hands-on experience with various assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver to validate accessibility for users with disabilities.
• Demonstrated capability to perform thorough accessibility audits, document technical findings, and recommend actionable improvements for development teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of screen reader software, keyboard navigation, and alternative input methods to ensure compatibility across digital platforms.
• Experience using CSS3 for accessible design layout, including ARIA roles and semantic HTML practices to enhance usability for all users.
• Proficiency with automated and manual accessibility testing tools such as AXE, WAVE, and Lighthouse for continuous compliance monitoring.
• Strong background in user-centered design methodologies, ensuring web experiences are intuitive, inclusive, and meet the needs of users with diverse abilities.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with developers, designers, QA, and project managers to deliver accessible solutions on time.
• Must have ability to translate complex accessibility requirements into user stories, technical specifications, and QA acceptance criteria for engineering teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive accessibility assessments of web applications and content to ensure adherence to WCAG guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with development and design teams to integrate accessibility standards from project inception through final deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Provide expert guidance on implementing accessible markup, ARIA attributes, and best practices to improve web usability for all users.
• Develop, maintain, and update project documentation, accessibility reports, and test cases to track compliance status and remediation progress.
• Regularly test websites using assistive technologies and automated tools, identifying issues and delivering actionable recommendations to project teams.
• Advocate for accessibility within the organization by conducting training sessions, knowledge sharing, and promoting awareness of inclusive design.
• Stay informed of evolving accessibility standards, industry trends, and legal requirements, applying learnings to enhance company processes and offerings.
• Support client consulting initiatives by advising on accessibility best practices, delivering presentations, and assisting with external audits or certifications.
