We are seeking a Junior Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) specialist to join our team in Hyderabad. This full-time position is ideal for someone with a passion for ensuring digital accessibility and usability. The successful candidate will utilize their skills in WCAG 2.1, ARIA, and more to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and enhance user experiences. Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in implementing WCAG 2.1 guidelines to ensure web content is accessible to all users.
• Experience with ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) for enhancing accessibility of dynamic web content.
• Expertise in semantic HTML to structure web content properly for screen readers and assistive technologies.
• Familiarity with JavaScript Accessibility to manage accessibility concerns in interactive applications.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive accessibility audits and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Screen Reader Testing (Mandatory skill) to ensure compatibility and navigation of websites using assistive tools.
• Color Contrast Testing (Mandatory skill) to maintain adequate contrast ratios for text readability and user experience.
• Keyboard Navigation (Mandatory skill) to ensure all web content is navigable by keyboard only users.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and development teams to implement accessibility best practices in new and existing web projects.
• Conduct regular audits of web content to ensure alignment with WCAG 2.1 standards and provide reports on findings.
• Advise on the use of ARIA roles and attributes to enhance the accessibility of dynamic content.
• Perform screen reader testing to validate accessibility features are working as expected across different devices.
• Develop strategies to improve color contrast and ensure all content is legible for users with low vision.
• Ensure all interactive elements on the website are fully operable using strict keyboard navigation.
• Work with stakeholders to translate accessibility requirements into technical specifications for developers.
• Remain up-to-date with the latest in accessibility trends and regulations to ensure continuous improvement.
