Job Overview

The Web Accessibility Tester role at Princo Solutions is a full-time, mid-level position based in Hyderabad. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that digital content is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. The ideal candidate should have up to six years of experience in web accessibility testing and will contribute towards enhancing our clients' digital assets to meet the highest accessibility standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1/2.2 (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in using screen readers, particularly Job Access With Speech (JAWS) (Mandatory skill).
• Understanding of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements as they relate to digital accessibility.
• Experience with Section 508 compliance to ensure all electronic and information technology is accessible to people with disabilities.
• Ability to assess and ensure web content accessibility through various assistive technologies like NVDA.
• Strong skills in HTML to identify and fix accessibility issues within the code.
• Ability to perform document remediation to meet WCAG compliance standards.
• Proven ability in performing audits and creating reports to document accessibility compliance and recommendations.

• Perform comprehensive accessibility testing of web applications and digital content to ensure conformance with accessibility standards.
• Utilize accessibility testing tools and methodologies to identify and document barriers for individuals with disabilities.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance and assistance in implementing accessibility improvements.
• Create detailed accessibility evaluation reports outlining compliance issues and providing actionable solutions.
• Conduct periodic reviews of digital assets to ensure ongoing compliance with the latest accessibility standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in accessibility technology and standards.
• Train and support team members on accessibility best practices and guidelines.
• Engage in client discussions to understand project requirements and advise on accessible design solutions.
