Responsible for developing and implementing production solutions and individual workflows. Capable of organizing, collecting and reporting data necessary for the definition and specification of the production engineering processes. Experience in well modelling, nodal analysis, numerical reservoir simulation, and capable of generating integrated asset models under general supervision of the technical lead project. Familiar with production optimization workflows, and debottlenecking very large complex infrastructures. Capable of working in a fast paced and deadline driven work environment. Skills are typically acquired through about 3+ years of consulting, supporting upstream work processes and IT projects.

Job Roles

·        Champions the implementation of a workflow with the direction of the technical lead.

·        Resolves issues related with the implementation of the workflow.

·        Implements workflow models (AssetConnect)

·        Supports with knowledge and expertise in the area of production and reservoir engineering.

·        Organizes data collection and reports information about the definition and specification of the domain engineering processes.

·        Designs and develops details of engineering calculations, workflows and real-time processes. Main interface between customer technical reps and the project.

·        Develops process models (Reservoir, Surface, Proxy's, etc.)

·        Works closely with the Business Architect to integrate the needs of the users.

·        Assists with documentation necessary for the workflow implementation.

·        Assists with testing to ensure that the user’s needs are met.

Education Licensure and Experience

·        Completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering (petroleum, mechanical or chemical), Computer Science.  Master’s degree is desirable

3+ years of experience in consulting, supporting upstream work processes and IT projects. Focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent team working capabilities.

o   Proven working experience in Python development
