We are looking for someone at various levels starting at 4 to 5 years of experience who is specialize in providing security systems and tools management related to AWS cloud technologies and playing a vital role in protecting an organization’s data. They are also responsible for investigating and analyzing existing cloud structures and creating new and enhanced security methods that will enhance the security of our AWS cloud environments.

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct network and/or application penetration testing.
• Develops security tools and implements manual and automated web application security testing of web applications to enforce security standards.
• Create security guidance, reports, and recommendations from findings, including the security issues uncovered and level of risk
• Employ cloud API’s when suitable to write network/system-level tools for safeguarding cloud environments
• Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.

Required Skills:

• An understanding of networking and communication protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, SSL/TLS, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, BGP)
• Prior experience with web application security and  AWS services such as Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Macie, AWS SecurityHub, Amazon Inspector, AWS TrustedAdvisor, and AWS Config.
• Experience implementing security solutions that resolve security and business risk trade-offs
• Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
• Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant disciplines
• Basic coding skills, such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, and other languages
• Familiarity with using AWS Cloud Services (EC2, VPC, API Gateway, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route 53, etc.)
• Full awareness of the latest developments in the security and technology industry including best practices and industry standards.
