Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Production cum opertions Manager to join our team at Plantrich Agri Tech Pvt Ltd. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production process of our high-quality food products. This is a senior-level position requiring 10 to 20 years of experience in production management. The job location is kurianad, Kottayam, Kerala, India, and it is a full-time employment opportunity.

Qualifications and Skills

• 10 to 20 years of experience in production management, preferably in the food industry
• Strong knowledge of production planning and operations
• Experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) production
• Familiarity with spices and coffee roasting processes
• Proficient in export operations and international trade
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient production strategies and plans to meet customer demands
• Manage and optimize the entire production process, from sourcing raw materials to product delivery
• Ensure that production operations adhere to quality and safety standards
• Monitor production output, costs, and timelines to achieve company targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, quality control, and sales, to ensure smooth production flow
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Lead and supervise a team of production staff, providing guidance and training as needed
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to improve production efficiency
• Coordinate with external vendors and stakeholders regarding production-related matters
• Implement measures to optimize resource utilization and reduce waste in the production process
