Job Overview

We are hiring a Mechanical And Maintenance Officer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team at Plantrich Agri Tech Pvt Ltd. As a Mechanical And Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery and equipment. This is a full-time position based in Kottayam, Kerala, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair
• Proven knowledge of maintenance management principles
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery
• ITI certification or equivalent in mechanical trade
• Experience in the food production industry, especially in spices, is preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services
• Monitor and control inventory of spare parts and supplies
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Train and supervise junior maintenance staff
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
