Job Overview

We are hiring a Laboratory Technician to join our team at Plantrich Agri Tech Pvt Ltd. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various tests and experiments to support our organic food production and value chain. This is a full-time position based in Kottayam, Kerala, India, and we are looking for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician in the FMCG or food industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience operating and maintaining GCMS, LCMS, HPLC, and Spectrometre.
• Knowledge of laboratory best practices and safety protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as GCMS, LCMS, HPLC, and Spectrometre.
• Conduct chemical analysis using various techniques and instruments.
• Prepare samples for testing and perform sample analysis.
• Record and analyze test data, and prepare reports.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
• Assist in the development and improvement of laboratory procedures and protocols.
