Sales Data Analyst
PG Paper is currently seeking a dynamic Commercial Data Analyst to manage territory & data alignment in relation to CRM, ERP & Data Warehouses.

The candidate will have the ability to prescribe, correct & proactively seek to ensure that data is correctly assigning to account & territories. The role will be responsible for data integrity to sales & internal commercial functions.
The successful candidate is process driven & with the ability to understand complex data issues with ease. High technical expertise is required in addition to a pragmatic & collaborative attitude.
Key Goals & Responsibilities
- Ability to extract, simplify & present large volumes of complex data easily.
- Prepare materials (spreadsheets, data models, reports, charts, executive level presentations) that summarise and give logic based recommendations to support key business decisions as well as translate market trends and statistics into useful information
- Processes, cleanse & validate data used for internal sales analytics/compensation reporting
- Drives uniformity in processes & tools.
- Participate in development, application and adherence of data management policies and procedures across data governance, data quality and master data management
- Participate in integration projects from a data mapping/revenue history perspective.
- Ability to produce simple analysis quickly to answer questions from sales & functional areas.
- Proactive problem solver with a focus on ensuring that any issues are swiftly resolved
- Collaborating cross functionality & gaining buy in from colleagues.
- Act as a subject matter expert for data integrity
- Advance the analytical capabilities of the business, collaborate in implementation, maintenance and integration of current & new tech solutions required for an efficient order management system and robust supply chain.
- Seeks out ways to automate & improve processes using lean methodologies?
- Continually assess current process & seeks innovative ways to drive efficiencies.
- Key point of contact for territory alignment/data projects
- Experience in delivering end to end analytics projects – taking them from vague requirements, to an impactful story, accessible across diverse audiences and ultimately to a clear business outcome.
Essential Skills / Requirements:
• Expert in Microsoft Excel (beneficial Power Query)
• Proficiency in query languages e.g. SQL
• Knowledge of R and/or Phyton beneficial.
• Experience of BI tools
• Exposure to CRM systems is beneficial
• Understanding of sales teams & territory alignment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills & highly collaborative cross functionally
• Ability to work at speed while maintaining 100% accuracy
• Ability to maintain a flexible attitude to changing priorities.
