Title / Position: Lead Structural Engineer

Years of Experience: 5 Years to 12 Years

Work Location: Offsite at Vadodara

Duration: 1 Year TPC (Extandable)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

 Provides discipline expertise in structural engineering as it relates to offshore drilling rigs.

 Understanding customer requirements and work closely with all the engineering teams from technology development / concept development

 Estimating the project timelines and complete assigned projects on time with adhering engineering standards & Process

 Coordinate well with interdisciplinary disciplines as well as with Clients and Vendors.

 Participate and present with critical design changes & concept reviews, other technical discussion with engineering team

 Prepare list of deliverables with man hour estimation for performing project tasks.

 Should be able meet Clients timely targets.

 Train and support subordinate structural engineers

 Directs drafters for drawing preparation.

Primary Skills:

 Should have strong Structural engineering skills in Design of Marine and Offshore structures

 Should be experienced in Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering, Material Take-off, Preparation of technical specification documents for project tasks

 Experienced at Repair/New Built/Conversion of ship and Offshore Structures, Rig with specialty in Structural Domain

 Experience in the areas of designing of offshore Structures.

 Should be conversant with the major international codes used in marine & offshore rigs

 Perform structural analysis using industry standard software's Viz. ANSYS, SACS

 Should have good knowledge in ABS, DNV and MODU rules.

 Must have Ansys, SACS, AutoCAD & Mathcad  Capable to handle both Analysis and drawing solely. Should be efficient in drawing skills.

 Perform feasibility checks for all kind of structural modifications for offshore structures.

 Perform Engineering changes with any kind of modifications on offshore structures.

 Review of fabrication drawings, MTetc.

 Beam-clamp, Pad eye design and qualification

 Deck load calculation, preparation of the spreadsheets for the engineering calculations

 Foundation analyses

 Work on the engineering / design changes in Platform, bridge access, stair tower design and qualification

 Perform Scantling checks.

 Perform Buckling analysis
