We have an urgent requirement for an FPS- Sales / Costing/Estimation/Tendering Engineer for

Bangalore-based Client.

Job Type:- Permanent Client Pay Roll

Location:- Bangalore, Chennai,

Experience - 8 to 12 Years of Experience

Qualification:- B.E/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

Job Profile :

1) Analyse RFQs, tender documents, fire system drawings, technical specs, and contractual clauses

(GCC/SCC).

2) Prepare FPS cost estimations, BOQs, and comprehensive techno-commercial offers.

3) Develop and submit value engineering solutions for cost-effective project delivery.

4) Manage vendor quotations, negotiations, and proposal documentation.

5) Coordinate with internal design, procurement, and project execution teams.

6) Use ERP/SAP systems for order booking, costing, and project handover processes.

7) Maintain profitability by ensuring accurate pricing and margins.

8) Track market trends, gather competitor intelligence, and maintain strong client relationships.

Skills:

• Expertise in FPS sales, especially in special projects (e.g., Metro, Data Centres, Healthcare).

Strong knowledge of technical documentation and costing.

• Strong knowledge of fire safety standards (e.g., NBC, NFPA, IS codes)

• Proficiency in estimation and costing for wet (hydrant/sprinkler) & gas-based systems• Hands-on

experience with ERP/SAP tools

• Excellent communication, documentation, and client handling skills
