We have immediate openings for "Sourcing Lead, Mechanical Engineers" for our Client Tech Mahindra.

Nature of Employment : Permanent position.

Job Locations : Bangalore, Hyderabad

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree.

Experience : 5-15 years.

Position : Sourcing Lead, Mechanical. 

Requisites : 

• 5-8 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing preferably from an Automotive EV manufacturing environment.

• Shall have the capability to interpret engineering, drawings, technical specification, tooling, and others to ensure the manufacture of quality parts.

• Should be able to interpret dimensional tolerances/ functional requirements/CTQs/GD&T/ Quality plan.

• Ability to determine cost-effective manufacturing process

• Basic understanding of Materials like Carbon steel, Aluminum & Alternatives materials by grades

• Expertise in the passenger vehicles (EV Preferred), Systems and Sub-systems level sourcing in India

• Good network of supply base in India for Automotive products like Aluminum structure, Steering Systems, E-Powertrain, Interiors, Exteriors, Brakes, Suspensions, BIW etc.

• Shall be familiar with vendor identification process / soft benchmarking / supplier Assessment Criteria and ratings/ Supplier audit and qualification procedure.

• Ability to lead Negotiation and Commercial finalization

• Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, lead RFP\RFQ\Quote submission\Quote analysis

• Good understanding of commercial and contract terms & conditions

• Participate in the development, Maintain supplier certification, Information and evaluation programs

• Research potential sources for the supply of bought-out items to ensure prices are globally competitive and sufficient production capacity is available within supply chain.
